FSSAI Special Inspection Drive – Webinar on “Inspection Readiness – FSSAI Special Drive” on Thursday, 13th August 2026 at 04:00 p.m.

Greetings in the 76th year of the Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India)!
HRAWI would like to draw the attention of all members to the special inspection drive being undertaken by FSSAI across hotels and restaurants in the country with effect from 15th August 2026.
The inspections are aimed at ensuring stricter compliance with food safety regulations and applicable standards by Food Business Operators (FBOs).
In view of the forthcoming inspections, all members are advised to review their existing food safety practices, records and documentation and ensure that their establishments are fully compliant with the provisions of the FSSAI Act, applicable regulations and prescribed food safety standards.
Members are particularly advised to review their licences and registrations, food safety records, training records, hygiene and sanitation practices, food storage and handling procedures, testing and calibration records, and other relevant compliance documentation, and address any gaps identified.
To help members prepare for the forthcoming inspections, HRAWI is organising a virtual webinar as follows:
