Greetings in the 75th year of the Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India)!
The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) is celebrating its 75th Platinum Jubilee year. The Association represents the interest of the Hospitality Sector including Hotels and Restaurants across all categories and formats and is the Western Arm of the Federation of Hotels and Restaurants Associations of India (FHRAI), originally established in Mumbai in 1950 by the late Mr. J.R.D. Tata.
Today, HRAWI represents a wide spectrum of hospitality brands, including renowned brands such as Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Leela, Marriott, Radisson, IHG, Hyatt, Accor, Fern, Sarovar, Royal Orchid, Pride and Lemon Tree alongside numerous standalone hotels and restaurants. Covering Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, and the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, we are the united voice of the hospitality sector in the region.
As we celebrate this milestone year, we are proud to announce the 20th HRAWI Regional Convention, to be held on 8th and 9th October 2025 at the iconic Crystal Room, The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai.
This year’s Convention is particularly special as we commemorate HRAWI’s 75th Platinum Jubilee —a milestone that reflects our legacy, unity, and resilience as an industry. The Convention Organizing Committee has crafted an engaging and meaningful programme under this celebratory theme, with a focus on reflection, renewal, and the road ahead.
As part of this vision, the tourism and hospitality sector has been rightly recognized as a key pillar in our journey towards ‘Viksit Maharashtra 2047’, aligned with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s national mission of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. The Convention will serve as a forum to deliberate on this roadmap and our collective role in building a vibrant, future-ready India.
