Draft Framework Charter between FHRAI and Copyright Societies

Greetings in the 76th year of the Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India)!
This is further to the email received from FHRAI, we wish to inform you that, in consultation with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, the One Window Licensing Committee had been constituted under the Chairmanship of Mr. Anup Jalota to institute a unified single-window licensing system for music users in India.
Subsequent to a meeting held under the Chairmanship of the Hon’ble Commerce and Industry Minister with representatives of the hotel and restaurant industry, event management associations and the music industry on 14th May 2026, the above-said Committee has suggested a Framework Charter between FHRAI and 3 copyright societies to provide ease of doing business to users, enhanced copyright compliance, licensing awareness and industry cooperation.
The draft Framework Charter between FHRAI and PPL, RMPL and IPRS are enclosed along with proposed tariff structure, for your kind perusal and valued inputs.
