Dahi Tikhari is a condiment made by tempering plain yogurtwith spices

Ingredients:

 •            2 cup curd

•             ½ tspsalt

•             2 tbspghee / clarified butter

•             10 clovegarlic, chopped

•             1 tspcumin

•             ½ tspmustard

•             pinchhing

•             2 driedred chilli

•             fewcurries leaves

•             ¼ tspcumin powder

•             ½ tspcoriander powder

•             ¼ tspturmeric

•             1 tspchilli powder

•             2 tbspcoriander, finely chopped

Method:

1.            firstly,in a large bowl take 2 cup curd and ½ tsp salt.

2.            whisk andmix well making sure the curd turns smooth texture. keep aside.

3.            in a panheat 2 tbsp ghee and saute 10 clove garlic until it turns golden brown.

4.            now add 1tsp cumin, ½ tsp mustard, pinch hing, 2 dried red chilli and few curry leaves.

5.            splutterthe tempering making sure to keep the flame on medium.

6.            turn off the flame and add ¼ tspcumin powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp turmeric and   

              1 tsp chilli powder.

7.            sauteuntil the spices turn aromatic.

8.            pour thetempering over curd and mix well.

9.            also add2 tbsp coriander and mix well-combining everything well.

10.          finally,enjoy dahi tadka with roti or paratha.
