Sub: Election Reforms and Ballot Paper sent by UPC
Dear Members,
Under the instructions of Mr. Vishamber Shewakramani, Election Officer I advise you that;
1)
Last date for accepting Ballot papers for the election of Committee Members at the HRAWI office is 22nd September 2009. If you did not receive your Ballot paper which was sent by UPC to all eligible members , the following could be the reasons:
- Your establishment has not paid its annual dues by 1st August 2009 (the cut off date). Out of 780 members only 573 had paid by the cut off date. If you still have not paid we request you to please pay the same. For any question please contact the undersigned.

Your establishment address in the records of HRAWI office is incorrect (if you suspect that is the case, please speak to Ms. Sunita at the HRAWI office and have the same verified). If your ballot envelope is returned undelivered to the HRAWI office we will make every attempt to have them sent to you by 22nd September 2009 deadline.
- The Ballot paper is lost in the mail by the postal department. In such circumstance the association will not be responsible. Proof of all UPC mailing is with the HRAWI office.
2) Please note Ballot papers and Representative Envelopes were serially coded and those very same ones are required to be used by the respective establishment hence no duplicate ballot papers are available under any circumstances.
3) Hope this clarifies the issue of non receipt of ballot papers (if any) to a Member Hotel Establishment.
