15th Regional Convention
MESSAGE FROM GOGI SINGH KOHLI, CHAIRMAN,
15TH REGIONAL CONVENTION ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

Dear Members :
You will be pleased to note that the 15th Regional Convention is taking place at The Trident, Mumbai, on 09th / 10th of July, 2009. The provisional programme of the Convention is already mentioned in the brochure, and I would appeal to each one of you, to participate in the Convention in large numbers.

The Committee has aptly chosen the theme of this year's Convention, as "HOSPITALITY : SAFE AND SOUND". Coming as it is, after the turmoil, which was witnessed after the terrorist attack in Mumbai, and in tune with the economic slow down, this Convention wishes to give a clear message that inspite of the upheavals, our Hospitality Industry, is both safe and sound. In tune with the theme, the following Business Sessions have been planned on the 10th of July, 2009 :

1] SECURITY MANAGEMENT.
2] MANAGING YOUR COST.
3] IMPROVE YOUR BOTTOM LINE.
4] OPEN FORUM WITH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS.

Eminent experts from the Hospitality Industry, will share their thoughts in panel discussions in each of these Sessions, which will be moderated by Hospitality experts. I am sure, you will find the Business Sessions as well as the Open Forum Session, most interesting and absorbing, and each one of us will carry back home a food for thought.

The Committee has invited the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Ashok Chavan, to inaugurate the Convention on 10th of July, 2009.

As in the past, a get-together has been arranged for all the members on 09th of July, 2009 and musical entertainment arranged at both the pre-Convention dinner, as well as at the Convention Banquet, on 10th July, 2009.

Hotels in down town Mumbai, are extending special rates for comfortable stay of outstation delegates and on behalf of the entire Committee, I extend to you a most cordial and warm welcome at this Convention, which I believe, will be a turning point in the history of the Association.

With best wishes.

G. S. KOHLI
CHAIRMAN
CONVENTION ORGANIZING COMMITTEE.
